Multi-Unit Team Leader

Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block — lead three tax offices and their customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.

• Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and the customer-centric teams to drive seasonal tax business growth.
• Lead the front-line management and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives for three offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
• Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as needed. This role is in-person (not remote).
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• Multi-unit people management experience in the retail, restaurant, banking, or related industry.
• Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and ability to lead towards a growth culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with the equivalent combination of experience.
• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Eligible associates may participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
