Roving Service Technician II
Location:
Odenton, MD (travel to sister properties in MD).
Salary Range: $22.45–$27.85 per hour (based on experience) with $4,000+ annual bonus potential.
Responsibilities- Work with the service and office team to provide exceptional customer service to resolve all maintenance related issues to the satisfaction of our residents.
- Show care and concern for our residents through follow‑ups and completion of their apartment service requests.
- Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
- Prepare vacant apartments for market‑ready status through turn‑over repairs and improvements.
- Preserve the beauty of the building and the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
- Willing to work weekends or evenings if needed and be on‑call for after‑hour emergencies.
- Manage records of activity in the maintenance software system.
- Provide preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
- Commit to professional development, stay up to date with industry trends and changes, and attend training.
- Assist with safety inspections and repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of facilities, residential, or multi‑family maintenance experience.
- HVAC (Minimum Type I & Type II), EPA certification.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, use ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
