Rise and Shine Bakery is a nonprofit workforce development program dedicated to empowering individuals with barriers to employment through hands‑on training, supportive services, and meaningful work experiences. We are seeking a Part‑Time Transportation Driver to help safely transport program participants and support daily operations.

The Part‑Time Transportation Driver plays a vital role in ensuring program participants arrive safely and on time to training, work sites, and approved locations. This position requires a reliable, patient, and safety‑focused individual who values community impact and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport program participants to and from Rise and Shine Bakery and designated locations
- Operate program vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle at all times
- Support a positive, respectful, and encouraging environment for participants
- Communicate effectively with program staff regarding schedules and transportation needs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience driving vans or transporting passengers preferred
