Job DescriptionAdministrative assistant will liaise with the VP of Operations and local operations management to perform assigned job duties and tasks necessary to meet customer and Atlas Pressure Control demands.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Provides comprehensive organizational and clerical support, managing calendars/meetings, handling correspondence, maintaining files and preparing documents/reports at the request of management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain order and on-time deliverables is crucial.
- Document Management:
Create, organize, maintain physical and electronic copies. - Support of Staff:
Provide general support to manager and other staff, assist with various projects and act as point of contact for internal/external clients. - Data & Reporting:
Input data, maintain databases, perform bookkeeping and prepare reports. - Professionalism:
Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with internal/external customers. - Integrity:
Maintaining the highest degree of integrity especially when dealing with sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory for interacting with colleagues and customers (external & internal).
- Computer proficiency:
Must be familiar and able to work with office software for the creation of documents, spreadsheets, presentations, internal/external communications, etc. - Attention to detail:
Essential for most assigned tasks. - Travel & Logistics:
Occasionally required to arrange travel, book tickets, submit expense reports. - Assist with receiving mail, separating to the correct departments, working with other internal departments such as accounting, engineering, inside sales, HSSE, Training.
- Ordering uniforms, supplies, etc.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- Regularly required to use hands.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Strong Computer Acumen including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
- Normally work in an office environment; however, occasionally work outside of the office environment in outdoor departments of the facility.
- Occasionally they may be exposed to hazards such as loud noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, chemicals, etc.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Previous experience in Oil and Gas preferred.
- Prior experience in an administrative assistant role.
- Experience with ERP/MRP Systems strongly preferred.
