We re seeking two full-time Neonatologists to join a growing NICU program in Odessa, Texas. Whats the Gig?
You ll play a key role in a Level II NICU with a planned transition to Level III, offering the chance to help shape and elevate the program.
Currently a 12-bed NICU, designed to support both growth and high-quality patient care.
Approximately 1,400 annual deliveries, serving a broad regional population.
Average daily census of 6 7 patients, allowing for thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Managing neonates born at 32 weeks gestation or greater and weighing 1,500 grams or more.
Caring for convalescing infants transitioning out of intensive care.
Providing short-term mechanical ventilation support as needed.
Stabilizing and coordinating transfer of critically ill neonates requiring higher-level care.
Treating infants with perinatal substance exposure, including scoring and pharmacologic management.
Managing low-birth-weight infants who require extended monitoring, feeding support, and nursing care.
Delivering critical neonatal interventions such as CPR, cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, and acute stabilization.
Combination of in-house daytime coverage and on-call overnight responsibilities.
30-minute response time for call.
