Responsibilities

It’s no wonder Odessa Regional Medical Center has a 5-star rating for maternity care, considering it began as a women’s and children’s hospital in 1975. Since then, ORMC has become a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services. The hospital now offers sophisticated procedures like heart surgery, and is home to the most advanced medical technology available today.   • 2,000 Deliveries a year in a 16 Bed Nursery
  • Supports a Level III NICU
  • Neonatologists deliver high risk deliveries
  • Primary role is NEWBORN Care and consults (0-2 Newborns in Nursery with a busy ER coverage)
  • Responds to PEDS Calls on the floor
  • 50% Circumcisions of patients expected

The beautiful mountains of Ruidoso, New Mexico are also just 4 hours away where avid snow skiers can enjoy a quick weekend retreat.

Qualifications
  • Active TX license or IMLC license preferred
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics required
  • Recent Pediatric experience required (within the past 12 months)
  • A minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience required
