Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts.

We partner with our customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Lead Package Walkdown Coordinator

Play an integral role in bringing world‑class quality and coordination to one of Worley's most important field functions. As the Lead Package Walkdown Coordinator, you will help align construction, field engineering, quality, and client teams so that every Inspection Walk Package (IWP), Test Work Package (TWP), Construction Work Area (CWA), and Request for Package Completion (RFPC) walkdown flows smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.

This is a role for someone who thrives on structure, communication, and clarity–and who enjoys being the steady, informed presence in a fast‑moving field environment.

Purpose of the role

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all package walkdowns in alignment with hydrotesting and construction schedules. You ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time, with the right information-creating a trusted link between Quality, Field Engineering, Construction, and our client. While this is not a management position, you will act as a knowledgeable "field general," guiding activities, anticipating obstacles, and driving accountability across stakeholders.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and control the flow of all IWP, TWP, CWA, and RFPC package walkdowns for the Worley Quality team.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate walkdown schedules that align with hydrotesting and construction priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Field Engineering to ensure readiness, documentation accuracy, and sequence alignment.
  • Facilitate client participation by providing timely notifications, clear expectations, and well‑organized walkdown events.
  • Track progress, issues, and required follow‑up actions in a structured, transparent manner.
  • Generate regular reports summarizing walkdown status, constraints, completions, and any items requiring leadership support.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact in the field—ensuring walkdowns begin on time, participants understand their roles, and all steps are completed to Worley standards.
  • Identify bottlenecks early and work collaboratively to resolve them before they impact schedule.
  • Maintain meticulous records of packages, punch items, and completions to support turnover and quality objectives.
What you'll bring to the role
  • Proven experience conducting and coordinating package walkdowns in a construction, industrial, or large‑scale project environment.
  • Strong understanding of IWPs, TWPs, CWAs, RFPCs, and how they integrate within construction and quality workflows.
  • Comfortable acting as a field‑based coordinator who thrives on communication, follow‑through, and structured planning.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, documentation, and hydrotest‑related package requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and repeatable processes.
  • Confident, professional communication skills – able to work seamlessly with Quality, Field Engineering, Construction, and client representatives.
  • A calm, pragmatic approach to rapidly shifting priorities and real‑world field challenges.
  • Proficiency with digital tracking tools, spreadsheets, and reporting methods.
  • A collaborative mindset grounded in integrity, accountability, and safety.

Feel the energy at Worley with access to a range of benefits including: paid‑time off, holiday pay (usually 8 per year in the US), and eligibility to participate in the medical, life, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as 401K plan.

If you're ready to bring clarity, coordination, and confidence to a role that directly impacts project success, we'd love to hear from you. Join us and help shape the quality and execution excellence that Worley is known for.
