Radiology - CT Tech

11:00 p.m.

- 7:30 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including but not limited to CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.

• Perform basic radiographic procedures and fluoroscopy.
• Conduct portable radiographic procedures and C-arm services.
• Process CT systems and perform surgical/sterile procedures as needed.
• Administer studies with or without contrast media and understand cross-sectional anatomy.
• Participate in on-call services as required.

• Graduation from an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
