Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Level II Trauma experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Charting: Cerner experience preferred
- Must be comfortable treating adult and pediatric patients
- Radius Rule: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- RTO must be submitted with the profile
Description:
Medical Center Hospital is seeking an experienced ER RN to provide emergency care in a combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department and Level II Trauma Center. Responsibilities include triage, trauma and shock management, cardiac monitoring, emergency medication administration, IV therapy, central-line care, blood product administration, and management of critical patients. Nurses should be experienced in responding to emergencies such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, psychiatric crises, overdoses, and respiratory emergencies.
