Respiratory Therapist
Role:
An experienced respiratory therapist responsible for providing adult medical-surgical, critical care, and pediatric respiratory support in a Level 2 trauma facility with a Level 3 NICU.
Responsibilities:Deliver respiratory therapy, perform labs within 48 hours, float across multiple units, and support rapid response teams. Maintain certifications and adhere to facility protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:Minimum of 2 years of recent experience, travel experience, and preferred familiarity with Cerner, trauma care, and teaching or community hospital settings. Valid license, BLS, RRT, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications required. Ability to complete labs promptly and provide references from recent supervisors.
Additional Requirements:Must live more than 50 miles from the facility, be vaccinated against flu (religious/medical declinations accepted), and upload health documents for onboarding. Must not currently work at the facility. Flexibility to work night shifts, every other weekend, and up to 13 weeks with limited time off.
Key Duties:Providing respiratory care across diverse patient populations, supporting trauma and neonatal units, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
