Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Requirements:
- 2 years of RN experience; travel experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required
- ACLS, BLS, ENPC, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Experience in a busy ER setting, including adult and pediatric patients
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Skills include triage, IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, central line care, respiratory management, emergency medications, procedural sedation, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and trauma care
- Experience with psychiatric emergencies, suicidal patients, overdose, violent behavior, and pediatric emergencies
Description:
- Fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department with approximately 165 daily visits, 36 rooms, and 42 beds.
- Provides care to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Handles a broad range of emergency cases, including trauma, shock, neurological emergencies, respiratory conditions, cardiac emergencies, and behavioral health cases.
- Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, phlebotomy, social services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams.
