Senior Desktop Technician - Microsoft Environment

Golden Sun TSA Services is a subsidiary of Quorum Health that provides IT and Revenue Cycle services. Golden Sun provides a range of services including patient billing, insurance and claims processing, revenue recovery, quality reporting, IT security, and maintenance and management of electronic health records.

Job Summary
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for Windows-based desktops, laptops, and peripherals in both clinical and corporate environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and healthcare-specific applications (e.g., EHR/EMR systems).
  • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, or similar platforms for endpoint management, software deployment, and patching.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and operations.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure IT solutions support healthcare workflows efficiently and securely.
  • Maintain system documentation, technical procedures, and asset inventory.
  • Implement and support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, One Drive, and SharePoint.
  • Participate in IT infrastructure and upgrade projects, migrations, and hardware refreshes.
  • Mentor junior technicians and act as a point of escalation for complex support issues.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards in all technical work.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience supporting users in a healthcare or regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with device management tools (Intune, MECM/SCCM) and remote support platforms.
  • Familiarity with basic networking and Windows Server concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, customer service orientation, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-critical healthcare setting.
