Purchasing Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Supervisor to oversee our procurement and inventory operations. We are a manufacturer, doing business in Odessa, Texas for over 40 years.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and live within 45 miles of Odessa, Texas to apply.

• Supervise and lead the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs to prevent stockouts.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing requirements.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, in a supervisory role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Acumatica and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
