About Wellbore Integrity Solutions
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Wellbore Integrity Solutions (WIS) was established by industry veterans with extensive experience in the wellbore integrity (fishing & remedial) market and global operating experience in oilfield services, manufacturing and E&P. Through the assets and technologies acquired by WIS, we provide wellsite services aimed at optimizing and extending the life of oil, gas and geothermal wells. Services include a wide range of well intervention solutions from fishing and remedial to slot recovery, coiled tubing, final well abandonment and more.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Act as a respected role model and build collegial relationships with senior leadership.
- Oversee aggregate P&L and business line P&Ls for the assigned location.
- Prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures and analyze variances; forecast requirements.
- Review monthly operating results against budget/plan and coordinate corrective actions with regional business line managers.
- Ensure operations comply with company policies, local laws and maintain a safe, injury‑free workplace.
- Develop, mentor, train and manage the team; recruit, coach, counsel and discipline employees.
- Communicate job expectations, monitor performance and provide appraisals.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, productivity, quality and customer service.
- Maintain financial and operational transaction integrity in compliance with WIS policies.
- Identify opportunities for investment or expansion, build business plans and secure necessary approvals.
- Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers, utilities, local government agencies and industry partners.
- Act as local point of contact for customer issues related to equipment quality, service quality or accidents.
- Collaborate with regional management to set and implement policies, procedures and systems.
- Communicate operating policies, expectations and issues to team meetings and corporate management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an oilfield‑related role, including 5‑7 years of management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow management and the month‑end/year‑end close process.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, nonverbal).
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, workflow and multiple projects under deadlines.
- Good judgment and the ability to make timely, sound decisions.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners and employees.
