Job Description

  • Assembles and tests assemblies according to Technip

    FMC specifications. Applies and develops basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Completes required test documentation, including test reports, failed test reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Cleans components after assembly following Technip

    FMC specifications and instructions.
  • Inputs labor details into the time tracking system and charges time to projects.
  • Participates in Lean events and actively engages in CISP initiatives.
  • Uses material handling equipment to move parts and components between work or storage areas as needed.
  • Performs all duties safely and ensures all employees are aware of hazards. Maintains good housekeeping in the work area.
  • Learns procedures and safety practices to prepare for advancement.
  • Assists other Assemblers in more advanced functions as part of training.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. Equivalent experience considered if the candidate passes an aptitude and reading comprehension assessment during pre-employment.
  • Strong understanding of general math; ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English; and ability to understand engineering and weld drawings.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers and workstations.
  • Zero to two years of mechanical experience.
  • Ability to operate high torque wrenches, overhead cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and rigging. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tapes, rulers, and pressure gauges.
