Assistant Process Operator

Chemical Solutions and Services Company seeking an Assistant Process Operator on a temp to hire basis.

Job Duties:

• Follow tasks according to guidelines and procedures

• Follow standardized instructions and procedures

• Participate in the structures safety process, and work safely to follow all procedures

• Write near miss incidents

• Perform all functions required for the production of batches of specialty chemicals while
operating all reaction equipment

• Stage raw materials and transfer chemicals into vessels, trucks, totes, drums, etc.

• Prepare samples of products for Quality Control Lab approval

• Complete necessary shipping and receiving paperwork and enter batch information into SAP

• Inform supervisor of equipment repairs needed and write maintenance request forms

• Maintain good housekeeping

• Problem solve in situations where most problems have occurred before and solutions are familiar

• Provide support to fellow operators

• Assist maintenance and materials movement as requested

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift operation certification a plus

• Ability to understand and be able to implement all ISO quality system procedures associated
with the manufacturing process

• Ability to handle multiple tasks

• Good communication skills

• Exhibit safe work habits

• Proficiency in SAP and Hazwoper Training is a plus

Schedule:

Monday to Friday/ 5:00 am to 5:00 pm (occasional Saturdays)

Salary:

$24.50/hour
