What is a Materials Coordinator? This position communicates with various departments to ensure that all materials are available to ensure the branch office has the inventory needed to fulfill the jobs for our customers.
In This Role, you will:- Compile inventory reports for review and analysis
- Analyze and stock inventory, check archives
- Oversee all inventory accounts and records
- Ensure timely packaging, shipment, procurement and invoicing of all stock and material
- Ensure that all stocks comply with the quality standards of the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years of inventory experience
- Operate, handle, and lift shop equipment and tools
- Use materials, methods, and the tools involved in the machining, welding, and assembly of API 6A valves and components
- Understand engineering drawings and specifications of components, assemblies, finished products for conformance of all requirements
- Determine the correct equipment and tools need to do a job correctly
- Execute mathematical and analytical skills
- Interact and coordinate work within the departments of the organization
- Navegate Microsoft Office and other computer inventory programs that are applicable
- Professionally communicate, both verbal and written
- Exhibit organizational skills
- Manage time efficiently and effectively
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Position operates in a shop environment of and oil and has servicing company
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear, use hands to manipulate with fingers, handle or feel, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach with hands and arms
- Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. (SEF Energy employees shall not manually lift an item weighing more than 50 lbs., they shall utilize mechanical assistance devices. If mechanical assistance devices are not available, utilize a team lift.)
- Working in wet or humid conditions (non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, cold or hot conditions (non-weather), risk of electrical shock, minimal risk of radiation, vibrations
- Ability to see at a close distance (clear vision at 20” or less), identify and distinguish colors, observe an area that can be seen up and down or left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point, judge distances and spatial relationships, three-dimensional vision, adjust focus (adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
- Quiet to very loud noises
- High School diploma or equivalent required
