Registered Nurse - PACU - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus at Odessa Regional Medical Center. Full-Time Position. 2 months ago Be among the first 25 applicants.

• Care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor vital signs, assess consciousness, and manage pain and nausea.
• Communicate with patients and their families about post-operative care.
• Check blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and temperature.
• Assess level of consciousness and orientation.
• Administer medications to treat pain and nausea.
• Look for signs of bleeding, low blood pressure, or arrhythmias.
• Dress wounds and assess drains.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care.
• Update surgeons and anesthesiologists on patient condition.
• Transfer patients to the next destination, usually within a few hours.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• PALS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
