Full‑time field RN position located in Odessa, TX.

• Current licensure in the state of Texas or Compact license.
• Preferably one year of nursing experience in a hospital or home health setting.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.

• Makes the initial nursing evaluation visit.
• Continually evaluates the patient’s nursing needs.
• Initiates and coordinates the plan of treatment and necessary revisions; instructs and supervises the patient’s family in care and maintenance of a healthy environment.
• Provides services requiring substantial specialized nursing skill.
• Renders nursing care to homebound patients and performs treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Assists the patient’s family to recognize the patient’s daily living problems through appropriate services.
• Maintains accurate records of the patient history for the supervisor and physician, especially regarding drugs and treatments.
• Reports to the patient’s physician and other appropriate personnel regarding changes in the patient’s condition.
• Supervises and teaches all other personnel providing services to the patient.
• Participates in in‑service programs, attending at least two educational meetings per year.
• Participates in nursing reports and follows agency protocol; performs 60‑day record reviews (recertifications).
• Participates in staff conferences regarding patient care.
• Participates in the QAPI plan and process.

• Supervised by:
  Director of Nurses / Alternate Director of Nurses.
• Supervises:
  Assists in supervision of staff LVNs and Home Health Aides.
