Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN with a TX or compact license and strong experience in a Level 2 Trauma setting.

• Position located in the Main Operating Room
• Day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4x10 hours from 6:30 to 19:00
• On-call required: 1 weekday and 1 weekend per month
• Handles a range of cases including robotic XI, orthopedic, spine/neuro, general/gyn, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, urology, vascular, and trauma cases
• Trauma Level 2 environment
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• 3-4 days of orientation provided
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing in a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Team-based work environment with support during orientation
• Holiday coverage may be required according to unit needs

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
• 1 year of RN experience required, with 2-3 years strongly preferred
• Experience with robotic XI and diverse surgical specialties required
• Must provide 2 references from supervisors within the last 3 years
