- Confirm installation compliance with approved drawings, NEC requirements, project specifications, manufacturer instructions, and applicable client standards.
- Witness or review insulation resistance, continuity, grounding, torque, hi-pot, point-to-point, loop-check, calibration, functional-test, and motor-test records as assigned.
- Verify cable identification, gland and sealing requirements, bend radius, segregation, shielding, grounding, termination workmanship, and enclosure integrity.
- Inspect instrument location, orientation, impulse tubing, supports, manifolds, process connections, accessibility, tagging, and calibration documentation.
- Create inspection reports, surveillance records, punch items, test-document reviews, release records, and system turnover evidence.
- Initiate and track nonconformance reports; confirm approved repair, replacement, use-as-is, or rework disposition before closure.
- Coordinate inspection and test readiness with construction, engineering, vendors, client quality, energization, and commissioning teams.
- Verify calibrated test equipment and technician qualifications before accepting test results.
- Support energization readiness reviews, subsystem walkdowns, dossier assembly, and final turnover.
