Job Title: Account Manager

As an Account Manager at Cooper Machinery Services, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering customer relationships within your assigned geographic area. This position demands proactive collaboration with both customers and internal teams to meet and exceed annual sales objectives.

• Drive the sales of Reciprocating products, services, and parts, with an emphasis on reciprocating engines and compressors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Present and promote Cooper’s innovations and technology solutions to address customer operational challenges.
• Formulate and execute a sales strategy for targeted clients to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
• Partner with technical sales support to ensure successful sales execution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Microsoft Dynamics on a daily basis.
• Commit to approximately 70% travel within the assigned area to engage with customers and support sales efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
• Minimum High School diploma or GED from an accredited school or institution.
• Have knowledge of oilfield, production facilities, and compression operations.
• Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with customers.
• Reciprocating compressor and engine experience.
• Results driven Leadership philosophy that utilizes an empowerment style to achieve innovative, continuous, and measurable results.
• Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Dynamics (CRM), Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Commitment to safety, customer service quality and to work in team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
• Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
