Regional Sales

• Generate new business through existing contacts, networking and cold calling.
• Present product solutions and conduct training within the customer sales/service environment.
• Service existing accounts from both a sales and account management perspective; initiate client meetings, appointments, and lunch and learns for products.
• Analyze customer needs and interests and determine how company products and services can best meet those needs.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant customer issues, pricing and billing procedures, and collections status.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
• Quickly build a detailed working knowledge and remain current of company products, market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
• Work with inside sales support staff on quotes, equipment selection, and sourcing to close orders.

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
• 2+ years related experience and/or training in outside sales in oilfield or industrial industries.
• Proven ability to strengthen relationships with "key" accounts.
• Ability to prospect new accounts by professional networking, industry research, and cold calling.
• Ability to negotiate and upsell with prospective customers.
• History of consistent goal achievement in sales.
• Driver’s license and passport required.
• Basic understanding of oilfield production.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely with strong presentation and liaison skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Physically and legally able to drive a company vehicle to all customer locations and events.
