Van Zandt Controls and Eagle Automation are hiring an experienced Electrical Apprentice to expand efforts in the fast paced, growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin. The role includes well‑pad installations, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, compressor stations, salt‑water disposals (SWDs), plants, and programming. • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• General electrical circuit knowledge
• Pipe bending experience
• Wiring and fabricating electrical and control panels
• Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes
• Solar powered systems
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components using test equipment
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring
• Pull wire, mount equipment and dig trenches as needed
• Ability to read and understand drawings

High school diploma plus a minimum of two years of electrical experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
