Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

General Purpose of Position:
Perform required maintenance, repairs, and restorations to any and all equipment at the yard. Assigned to specific shift and rotation. Performs maintenance on equipment brought in to the yard.

Essential

Job Duties:

1. Inspect, analyze, test, measure, and repair equipment as needed by Stingray.
2. Assist with entire engine disassembly and assembly.
3. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
4. Clean and lubricate parts and equipment.
5. Test-run repaired equipment to ensure adequacy of repairs.
6. Perform minor repairs such as changing lights, reflectors, fenders, gaskets, hoses, etc.
7. Manage inventory.
8. Assist with the testing, and evaluation of machinery, engines, and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction.

Additional

Job Duties:

1. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
2. Provide leadership at all times through action and behavior.
3. Communicate any issues with equipment to manage
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum 6 months of experience in maintenance, oil and gas preferred.
3. Knowledge of diesel engine and hydraulic systems including mechanical and electrical system components, injectors, pumps, alternators, and starters.
4. Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time
5. Ability to lift up to 50lbs
6. Ability to work irregular hours and be on call as necessary
7. Ability to effectively communicate
8. Ability to successfully solve problems
9. Comply with all Stingray policies and procedures and all health and safety policies

Environment:
Frequent exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.
