Delivery Specialist

Overview

Apply for the Delivery Specialist role at O'Reilly Auto Parts and join a team focused on safe, efficient vehicle operations and customer service.

• Operate company delivery vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers.
• Use hand-held fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, secure keys and fuel/fleet credit cards, and keep monetary collections secure.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management and report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers, serve as cashier, and perform merchandising tasks as business dictates.
• Complete additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the 14/18-point standard in the company’s record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
