Heavy Haul Driver III – Warren Equipment Company

We’re looking for a Heavy Haul Driver III who will operate a Class 8 tractor and trailer with capacity >80,000 lbs to transport machinery and materials to and from specified destinations.

• Drive a tractor/trailer (RGN) combination up to 8 axles with lift axles, flip axles and a spreader bar.
• Operate delivery trucks, towing triple axles, liftable axles, and flip axles with or without a spreader bar, and towable construction equipment in high traffic or congested city zones and in small areas.
• Haul oversized machines up to 95,000 pounds.
• Load and unload truck ensuring all cargo is secure per FMSCA and Warren CAT requirements.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and report deficiencies via driver‑vehicle inspection report.
• Operate all construction equipment.
• Receive dispatches, load and secure equipment, transport equipment, and report the status of all loads using our technology devices.
• Maintain electronic log in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain communication with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding customers and store operations.
• Work with customers and vendors frequently; follow directions.

• High school diploma or GED; plus one year college/technical school certificate, three years related experience/training, or equivalent combination.
• Class A CDL driver's license, DOT Physical Examination (Medical Card), and clear driving record.
• Ability to work effectively with tools and equipment.
• Independent decision making, timely judgment, and accurate written/ verbal instructions handling.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, short correspondences, memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Pass work‑related pre‑employment physical.
• Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.

Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear.
