The organisation
We’re currently recruiting an AIT Manager for an innovative client operating in the European space industry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation space technologies within an international, multidisciplinary engineering environment.
About the role
As the AIT Manager, you’ll coordinate and manage Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) activities for the development of advanced engineering systems. You’ll ensure that planning, internal test facilities and test execution are aligned, enabling projects to be delivered safely, efficiently and according to schedule.
Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering teams and Team Leaders, you’ll coordinate multiple stakeholders while driving successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate Assembly, Integration & Test activities across multiple projects.
Develop and manage AIT planning and execution strategies.
Coordinate internal test facilities and test campaigns.
Ensure test plans are executed in line with quality, planning and safety requirements.
Monitor project progress, milestones and technical risks.
Coordinate technical and operational stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within AIT processes.
Support the successful delivery of complex engineering programmes.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience.
Experience coordinating engineering or Assembly, Integration & Test activities within a high-tech environment.
Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent English communication skills.
Experience with in the aerospace or space industry is a strong advantage.
