Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Transportation Project Manager with 10+ years of experience.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS- Licensed professional engineer in Illinois
- Interact and communicate with clients, vendors and staff of all levels
- Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
- Track multiple projects simultaneously to keep jobs on schedule and under budget
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience using at least one CADD platform (Micro Station or AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of at least one highway design package (e.g., Open Roads, Geopak, or Civil3D)
- Critical thinking and analysis
- Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations
- Prepare and write engineering and other reports
- Coordinate and write responses to project solicitations
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships
- Develop business in the Illinois region
- Field visits on rough terrain per project needs
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive to and from job sites
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience working directly with the Illinois Department of Transportation and local municipalities
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
SALARY RANGEHorner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
