Radiology Technologist - Night Shift, No Weekends!
Position at BJC, Memorial Hospital Belleville. Night shift 7:30 pm–6 am, Monday–Thursday, with shift differential.
OverviewMemorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical, surgical, critical and emergency care, including pediatric services. Accredited as a Chest Pain Center, Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, and a Lung Cancer Screening Center. Magnet®-recognized for nursing excellence.
Preferred Qualifications- License or certification: RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES, CNMT.
- Returned shift differential for night shifts.
- No weekends; rotating holidays.
The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures for adult and/or pediatric patients to aid diagnosis and/or treatment.
Responsibilities- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures; informs patient on instructions and procedure with high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently; serves in on‑call situations (if applicable); conducts portable exams and other tasks assigned by the department.
- Education:
Associate or trade school equivalency. - Experience:
No prior experience required; preferred 2 years of experience. - Supervisor
Experience:
No prior experience required.
- IEMA – Illinois only, excluding MRI.
- Radiology Technologist – Registered.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
