This role offers a base pay range of $85,000.00/yr - $/yr and is based in Pacific Time Zone business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm). Candidates located near one of our firm’s offices may have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. Experience handling California cases is a plus.
MG+M is a nationally renowned litigation law firm concentrating on complex civil matters, with expertise in toxic tort, complex product liability, local government, general liability, and commercial litigation.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate a high-volume General Liability docket for a Senior Managing Partner.
- Serve as primary liaison between attorneys, legal administrative assistants, and other paralegals to ensure efficient case management.
- Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
- Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.
- Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings.
- Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case materials.
- Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners.
- Record and submit contemporaneous billable time in accordance with firm policies.
- Perform intensive administrative work and procedural tasks related to case management.
- Minimum of 5+ years of General Liability Defense litigation experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Westlaw, PACER, and File & Serve Xpress.
- Experience handling California litigation is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large caseload with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with attorneys, other paralegals, and legal administrative assistants. - Organization:
