Job Summary /Basic FunctionWSU Study Abroad is seeking a motivated student to assist with Field Trip Requests from academic departments and colleges. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring university and federal compliance with all off-campus travel by communicating effectively and fostering meaningful connections with faculty and staff across campus. The student will be assisting with:
- Keeping track of all field trips submitted with the Field Trip Request Form
- Coordinating with Risk Management to ensure field trips are safe
- Assist faculty and staff with NC- SARA and Clery Reporting
- Connect with departments to ensure all field trips are being reported through Study Abroad
- Answer questions about the field trip request process
The student will be stationed in the Study Abroad Office and will be required to perform typical office duties including answering phones, providing excellent customer service, responding to emails, maintaining databases, maintaining office appearance, updating our website occasionally, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications- Full time student (12 credits minimum for Undergraduate, or 9 credits minimum for Graduate)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with others
- Ability to work both individually and with a team
- Ability to Multitask
- Knowledge of Weber State processes and applications (Site Manager, NC- SARA , Clery, etc.)
