The Commercial Flight Controls Division, headquartered in beautiful Ogden, Utah, is a global leader in aerospace flight controls.

Scope and Interaction- Critical individual contributor role reporting to the Division Contracts Director.
- Routine interaction with planning, operations, logistics, quality, finance and program management
- Direct customer contact with large Commercial OEMs focused on order status and issue resolution.
- Perform high-volume, accurate order entry and maintenance:
- Enter and validate customer purchase orders against existing agreements (POs, BCAs, LTAs).
- Execute schedule changes, holds/releases, and acknowledgments; maintain clean order backlog and audit trails.
- Manage customer portals for order intake, updates, confirmations, and document retrieval.
- Execute PO/Contract validation and analysis:
- Confirm pricing accuracy, delivery schedules, and basic terms compliance with company policy.
- Flag discrepancies and route for internal review/escalation; maintain complete, organized contract files.
- Monitor order performance and communicate proactively:
- Track order status, aging, and delivery commitments; provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Research and resolve order-related issues (e.g., repair reports, shipping documents, returns) and close the loop with customers.
- Support demand planning and S&OP inputs:
- Prepare and maintain demand plan inputs derived from customer orders, schedules, and trends.
- Coordinate with planning and operations to align capacity and material requirements.
- Maintain metrics and reporting:
- Produce daily/weekly reports on order entry accuracy, cycle times, backlog health, on‑time release, and exceptions.
- Identify process gaps and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance and documentation control:
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and aerospace regulations; adhere to division policies and procedures.
- Maintain records of order changes, returns, and customer communications.
- Limited contract administration activities:
- Support administration of low‑complexity agreements through compliance checks and documentation.
- Minimal negotiation responsibilities; when needed, perform basic price/term confirmations and route complex items to management.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or related discipline; professional entry-level role.
