Cardiothoracic Surgeon

This Level II trauma center in Ogden, Utah is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens inpatient assignment from December 28 to January 3. The clinician will provide exclusive 24-hour call coverage and perform cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures. Supported by a dedicated team of an APP, MA, MOS, and RN, the provider will manage approximately 10-12 patients weekly.

• Provides comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services and performs approximately 80 cardiac procedures annually
• Maintains advanced surgical capabilities for both cardiovascular and thoracic cases
• Support staff includes an APP, MA, MOS, and RN
• On-site location

Responsibilities

• Provide exclusive 24-hour call coverage
• Manage approximately 10-12 patients weekly
• Handle approximately 3-5 consultations for 7 days
• Perform approximately 1-3 surgical cases per week, usually 1 cardiac and 2-3 thoracic cases
• Encompass cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures as required throughout each designated coverage period
