Job Summary / Basic Function

Provide general office support to the Wildcat Advantage Program by answering phones, data entry, managing the reception area, assisting with student trainings and orientations, managing social media, and completing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a current Weber State University student.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer skills, e.g., Microsoft suites, Gmail, etc.
  • Telephone skills, data entry, and attention to detail.

Physical Activity of this position:
Maintaining equilibrium to prevent falling; walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces; bending at the waist; bending legs and knees; extending hands and arms; sustained standing; moving about for long distances; pressing, pulling, or lifting objects; operating equipment; grasping; feeling; expressing ideas; receiving instructions; repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers.

Physical Requirements

Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work.

Visual Acuity Requirements

Including color, depth perception and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.

The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position:
None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (typical office or administrative work).
