Cimarron is seeking a senior-level Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Designer to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the US Air Force’s Sentinel program (GBSD) in Ogden, UT. Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design, construction, and integration of the Sentinel launch infrastructure at locations including Vandenberg AFB, CA; F.E. Warren AFB, WY;
Malmstrom AFB, MT; and Minot AFB, ND. Sentinel is a vital nuclear modernization program that will recapitalize the nation s aging ground-based leg of the nuclear triad—the Minuteman III ICBM. This is a significant opportunity to contribute to the future ground leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent.

This is an on-site position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (every other Friday off), paid overtime, and a great work/life balance. For candidates not local to the Ogden area, a relocation allowance can be provided.

• Develop detailed HVAC system designs and 3D models for complex facilities in Smart Plant 3D and other design tools, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines to ensure seamless system integration and resolve design conflicts.
• Prepare design documentation, including drawings, schematics, equipment layouts, and flow diagrams, supporting design reviews and customer submittals.
• Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork and piping layout design to meet performance and compliance standards.
• Support field coordination, design verification, and as-built documentation throughout all project phases.

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
• Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real
  -compliant driver’s license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. If unsure whether your  Real

• Proficient with the MS Office Suite.
• Experience designing HVAC systems, including ducting, sheet metal, and all associated equipment.
• Experience with design/drafting tools, such as AutoCAD, Smart Plant 3D, Revit, etc.
• Experience working in a project team environment to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, including testing for marijuana use.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 12 or more years of relevant experience.

• Experience with Smart Plant 3D.
