• Lead the preparation of detailed civil design drawings, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design, and plan/profile sheets.
• Develop 3D surface models, alignments, corridors, grading plans, and earthwork calculations.
• Interpret engineering reports, surveys, field data, and geotechnical information to inform design.
• Maintain drawing accuracy through version control, redline updates, quality checks, and compliance with project standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine design concepts, resolve issues, and deliver coordinated plan sets.
• Prepare and update civil CAD standards, templates, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal design codes and agency requirements.
• Support project scheduling, workload planning, and task tracking.
• Mentor and support junior designers and drafters.

• 10+ years drafting experience or accredited CAD certification.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and its working standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Ability to lead and design projects.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, surveys, and technical documents.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Works efficiently independently as well as collaboratively with others.
• Has a positive and professional attitude.
