Project OverviewCraig Technologies is partnered with Bechtel, who is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Bechtel’s scope of service in Sentinel’s current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.
A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. Job SummaryYou will be working as part of the Mechanical Engineering team assisting the EGS, Lead, engineers, and the Project Engineer/Project Manager in identifying and extracting technical data from a variety of sources. You will work with the schedule and reporting work progress. You will work to organize and coordinate submittals, back check drawing updates, document reviews, meetings, and workshops.
The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for utilizing computers to collect, organize, and present technical data through the use of databases. You will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines in your day-to-day work activities.
The successful candidate must have strong organization and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the drive to innovate designs.
Major Responsibilities- The primary role of the Engineering Technologist is to support the EGS, Lead, and engineers tracking of information and locating documents.
- The Engineering Technologist performs data searches and maintains open item punch list items status.
- The Engineering Technologist supports meeting presentations, including preparing presentation slides.
- The Engineering Technologist will also support the preparation and review of technical documents under the direction of an engineer, including supporting CAD updates/back-checking.
- The Engineering Technologist assures the work is performed to the high-quality standards while executing to the schedule.
- In addition, it will be required that the candidate has excellent communication skills and can demonstrate leadership, quality, and safety values within the work group and to interfacing disciplines.
- Maintain Key Process Improvement registers.

- Level 1: Requires an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree (or international equivalent) with 1–2 years of relevant work experience OR no degree and 4–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Level 2: Requires an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree (or international equivalent) with 3–4 years of relevant work experience OR no degree and 5–6 years of relevant work experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in software tools (MS Excel, Word, Access, Power Point).
