• Develop and implement optimal treatment strategies using expertise in simulation and treatment processes.
• Assess patients, recognize and document changes in status.
• Educate patients on radiation side effects and management of these side effects.
• Document treatment parameters and maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records.
• Evaluate, critique and recommend changes to the radiation therapy process as necessary.
• Participate in patient simulation, fabrication of immobilization devices and treatment accessories on an emergency on‑call basis and clinical rotations.
• Perform HDR simulations, catheter measuring, documentation, hookup and assist nurses with post‑HDR patient care as needed.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT‑R) Radiography, (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, associate degree and (ARRT‑T) Radiation Therapy or (Rad Therapy) Radiation Therapist certification within 60 days of start date.
