Amazing Care Home Health offers specialized therapy services that differ from other home health providers. We give you the freedom to build a weekly schedule as you see fit, with as many or as few visits as you would like, on your preferred days of the week.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Ogden area. An occupational therapist (OTR) will implement treatment plans to assist clients of all ages with cognitive, neurological, physical, sensory, feeding, activities of daily living, and/or social/emotional functioning by developing and administering occupational therapy services in the home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and high-quality care that meets the needs of the client and family by performing evaluations, interpreting assessment results, developing a plan of care including skilled interventions and goals appropriate to the client's needs, and creating and implementing occupational therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the physician.
  • Assist pediatric and adult patients to develop or regain cognitive, neurological, physical, sensory, feeding, activities of daily living, and/or social/emotional functioning, improving their level of independence and quality of life.
  • Coordinate care with referring physicians and other healthcare organizations and personnel to ensure safe, appropriate, and effective care.
  • Instruct clients, families/caregivers, and other healthcare personnel in the client's treatment plan as indicated.
  • Identify client and family/caregiver needs for additional services and refer as appropriate.
  • Prepare and submit documentation per organization policy.
  • Maintain clinical competency in occupational therapy theory and practice.

Pay: $60-$70 per visit (visit duration varies from 30-90 minutes). Mileage is provided for commuting between patient visits.

Schedule:

Part-Time Days, 10-20 visits per week.

  • A master's or doctoral degree in occupational therapy (OT)
  • NBCOT Certification
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) License in Utah
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Minimum 1-year clinical experience preferred but not required
  • 401K
