FLOAT Patient Care Technician – CCHT

DaVita Kidney Care is hiring a FLOAT Patient Care Technician – CCHT. This role requires dialysis experience and CCHT certification.

• Direct patient care – spend most of your shift providing safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment to up to 4 patients.
• Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis: measure and record stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup, with exposure to blood and needles.
• Continuous improvement – help us refine processes and build a world‑class care community.
• Build long‑term relationships and educate patients about kidney dialysis.
• Teamwork – work with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other clinicians under RN supervision.
• Flexible schedule – shifts may begin as early as 4:00 AM and will vary; you will work Monday‑Saturday mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Prior dialysis experience and CCHT certification is required.
• Ability to float between clinics during and after training.
• Typical hours during training: 32‑40 hrs/week, with flexibility to work varying schedules.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Saturday mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
