Introduction

Pay Grade Salary
Hourly Pay Rate $20-$25 DOE
Work hours are semester based, daytime 7:30-4:30 coverage, may change based on semester. Reinforce course concepts through instruction and practical laboratory applications, record attendance and assess students’ knowledge of key concepts, assist with laboratory organization and preparation of learning activities, and provide constructive feedback to the department and faculty.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Lab Sciences or an associate’s degree with 2 years of experience is required.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have completed courses through the WSU Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences.
- Licensed through ASCP as an MT or MLT.
- Phlebotomy, pipette, microscopes, basic culture setup, operation of lab equipment, basic knowledge of UA, Chem, Micro, Immunology, Serology, Hematology.
- Grading of laboratory assignments.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
