• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Physical stamina and agility are required, job entails constant mobility, frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and handling items weighing up to 25 pounds
• Capable of standing and walking for the entire shift

As a Houseman at our hotel, you play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and overall guest satisfaction. Each day you are responsible for ensuring all public bathrooms, meeting rooms, and other common areas of the hotel are spotless. From sanitizing surfaces to replenishing supplies, you take pride in creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Removing trash, vacuuming, mopping, and performing other necessary cleaning tasks are among your core responsibilities.

Your attention to detail ensures that every corner of the hotel remains pristine, and our guests enjoy a comfortable stay. You also lend a hand in cleaning guest rooms and the laundry room. Your assistance ensures that rooms are prepared to our high standards, and clean linens and towels are readily available for our guests.

Guest satisfaction is a top priority. As you go about your evening, you greet and assist guests with a friendly smile, addressing their queries and providing guidance. Your warm and helpful demeanor contributes to their positive experience. Special requests from guests or colleagues are accommodated by you quickly and professionally. Whether it's arranging additional amenities, providing extra towels, or addressing concerns, your attention to detail and efficiency leave a lasting impression on our guests.

When deliveries arrive, you are responsible for receiving them. You carefully check the items against the delivery notes, promptly put them away in designated storage areas, and ensure that the storage areas remain organized and clean.

Teamwork and collaboration are essential to achieving our goals. You actively engage with all departments, ensuring effective communication and cooperation to provide a seamless experience for our guests. Supporting our maintenance team is another vital aspect of your role. You take charge of fixing any broken, defective, or missing items promptly. Your dedication to maintaining a well-functioning environment enhances the overall guest experience.
