Nutrition Care Associate

Performs a variety of food and guest service duties under general supervision. This position includes patient meal tray assembly and delivery, cashier, food assembly, food serving, and cleaning.

Shift Details:
Part‑time (24 hrs/wk) Variety of days & shifts. Typical mid‑morning shifts of 10:00am–6:30pm or 11:00am–7:30pm. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Operate within a high‑volume retail environment characterized by a fast‑paced atmosphere. Must work independently, apply critical thinking, and proactively anticipate evolving café needs. Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service is required.

• Food Handler Permit or Serv Safe certification required by first day of work (required only in the states of Utah and Idaho).
• Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service (preferred).

• Delivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process.
• Performs food preparation functions according to system standards (e.g., prepares salads, sandwiches, vegetables, and fruit).
• Follows standardized practices relating to Nutrition Services (e.g., dining experience, meal delivery, maintaining required stock levels).
• Performs housekeeping functions including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floor care, and equipment (oven, fryer, hoods).
• Performs accurate cash/credit transactions according to system standards and independently resolves basic customer service issues.
