The Head of Supply Chain is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's end-to-end supply chain operations. This executive will develop and execute a world-class supply chain strategy to support business growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the food manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a long-term supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• Procurement and Sourcing: Lead the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging, and ingredients. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Manufacturing and Operations: Partner with plant operations to optimize production schedules, manage capacity, and ensure product quality and safety standards are met.
• Logistics and Distribution: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and transportation to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers and retailers.
• Inventory Management: Implement best practices for inventory planning and control to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, leveraging data analytics and technology to identify and implement process efficiencies.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including those related to raw material availability, transportation disruptions, and geopolitical factors.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and R&D to ensure supply chain strategies support overall business goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in the food or pet food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex supply chain strategies.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L responsibility.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
