Hot Plant Leadman/Hot Plant Operator - Kilgore Contracting - Ogden, Utah

We are currently hiring for a Hot Plant Leadman/Hot Plant Operator at our Hot Plant in Ogden, Utah.

• In the absence of the Plant Manager, the leadman is responsible for ALL site activities, including safety, administration, and operational performance.
• Responsible for the safe operation of the plant and obtaining maximum production, ensuring quality products within specifications.
• Compile production, maintenance, timecard, and other logs for reporting.
• Implement the Plant Program, including a Daily Production Schedule and Daily Maintenance Schedule.
• Communicate with crew members frequently to ensure best operational practices at the plant.
• Monitor compliance with fugitive dust from the plant.

• Training will be provided upon hiring, including:
• Required Safety training
• Site Specific Training, including site inspection training
• Plant Operation Task Training

• Daily Equipment Inspection:
  • Maintenance logs, Production logs, Timecards
  • Oversee inspection and repair of plant equipment
  • Conduct required daily and monthly plant inspections
  • Report any safety or mechanical issues immediately
  • Submit inspection log daily
  • Do not run equipment without performing the inspection
• Operation of equipment: operate safely and efficiently, avoid idling, maintain cleanliness of Cab and Control House.
• Site observations: continuously visually inspect plant operations; monitor feed material to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Productivity: meet or enhance scheduled uptime, operating efficiency, labor costs, and maintenance costs; communicate goal progress to supervisor and crew.
