Production supervisors will oversee manufacturing operations for the Defense product line (PCR) at the Ogden, Utah facility, supporting both the Jet Aire and Jet Power value streams.
Responsibilities- Supervise and develop a team of approximately 20–30 first‑shift employees, ensuring daily production goals are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Oversee operations in the Defense Jet Aire and Jet Power value streams, coordinating the assembly of air conditioning units, bleed air carts, and power conversion systems for defense applications.
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure compliance with ITAR, DFARS, and DPAS standards.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives with an emphasis on first‑time quality, process reliability, and attention to detail.
- Provide hands‑on leadership in solving mechanical and electrical production issues, guiding team members in troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Drive performance through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability while fostering a culture of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Support documentation, work instructions, and inspection readiness consistent with defense manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain strong floor presence, balancing administrative responsibilities with direct engagement in daily production.
- Partner with other first‑shift supervisors to ensure cross‑departmental coordination and consistent execution across product lines.
- High School Diploma or GED with three (3) or more years of manufacturing experience.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in defense or government manufacturing environments with exposure to ITAR, DFARS, or DPAS processes.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, mechanical assembly, and component troubleshooting within light manufacturing or aerospace/defense operations.
- Proven success managing teams in quality‑sensitive, regulated environments.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Production Control to ensure product readiness and compliance.
- Effective communication skills and proven leadership abilities, adaptable to employees with varying experience levels.
- Experience leading teams through transition periods or workforce changes such as retirements and onboarding.
- Shift: First shift, approximately 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (flexible start time as operational needs allow).

$72,200.00 – $. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by factors such as scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, and skills, as well as equity considerations among similar positions.
