Welding Inspector

Bring your CWI credential to a fabrication team that takes quality seriously. You’ll own weld inspection and documentation from fit-up through final, making sure every piece of fabricated material meets code and specification before it leaves the shop.

• Conduct in-process and final weld inspections and document findings in detailed reports
• Confirm weld quality meets company standards, project specs, and AWS D1.1
• Hold employees and departments to company procedures and industry standards
• Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate issues for correction
• Serve as a quality resource for welders and fabricators on the shop floor

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential
• 2-3 years of experience in welding or a related field
• Solid working knowledge of AWS D1.1
• Passed Jaeger J1 visual acuity exam; high school diploma or equivalent
• Detail-focused and organized, with strong math and data entry skills
• Clear communicator, comfortable with computers, and open to overtime
