CNC EDM Machinist — Wire​/Sinker Specialist

Step Into a Precision Day Join our client’s advanced manufacturing team as a CNC EDM Machinist and own the full lifecycle of producing tight-tolerance components. Your day starts by reviewing prints and planning, then setting up and running EDM equipment (sinker, wire, or popper). You’ll cut, test, and verify parts to demanding engineering and customer specs, keep accurate part IDs and documentation, and hand off a clean, well-communicated status to the next shift.

You’ll also support grind operations as needed, sustain TPM, and uphold 6S and safety standards while ensuring material flows smoothly through the cell.

Available Shifts Afternoons: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMNights: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AMWhat You’ll Tackle Set up and operate CNC EDM machines (sinker, wire, popper) to blueprint requirements.

Produce and verify parts against engineering/customer specifications.

Inspect to manufacturing standards and GD&T callouts; check for burrs and surface integrity.

Maintain precise identification and documentation per planning.

Execute routine TPM and keep a clean, organized 6S work area.

Coordinate smooth shift handoffs and keep parts moving through the cell.

Provide occasional support to grinding operations.

What You Bring High school diploma or GED.
2–5 years operating wire or sinker EDMs (GD&T experience required).Ability to read and interpret blueprints, planning documents, and manufacturing specs.

Comfort working cross-functionally and multitasking in a team-driven environment.

Familiarity with Siemens CNC controls is a plus.

Physical capability: lift 50 lbs (4"–25"), push/pull 60 lbs, grip ≥50 lbs, and reach above shoulder (65").Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed.

Pay & Benefits $25–$37.50 per hour plus shift premiums.
