- Manage and direct retail associates, conduct store audits, and complete all retail projects.
- Maintain client objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked, properly signed, faced, and displayed according to schematics.
- Establish and maintain client relationships and coordinate work appointments.
- Monitor and regulate expenses against position and team budget standards.
- Communicate accurately and timely with administrative and coaching duties for direct reports.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Business development: build goodwill with trade and clients, place new items, and ensure completion of all retail projects.
- Client audits: manage retail personnel, conduct store audits, and execute all retail projects.
- Sales and merchandising: keep product shelves stocked, signed, faced, and standardized.
- New item placement in all authorized stores.
- Authorize items to meet client shelf schematic standards.
- Call coverage: schedule merchandisers and review reports.
- Budget and expense control: work under budget and maintain excellent control.
- Administration and reporting: complete paperwork, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
Essential duties include up to 30% travel and regular driving.
Qualifications- Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of applicable retail experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple duties with frequent changes and competing deadlines.
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Incumbents may spend 66% or more of the work day in physical activity, lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and may work in cold conditions. Travel and driving are required.
